We arrived in Blantyre yesterday, Tuesday, 6 August, and were met by Captain Stanley Phiri, Public Relations Secretary and Peter Kadzuwa, THQ Driver.
Bandsmen and Songsters have started long journeys to Blantyre with many travelling overnight by bus to arrive on Thursday, 8 August! A fantastic number of over 100 are expected to attend the 2019 Malawi Territorial Music Camp with the inspiring theme of ‘Finding Peace’.
Today we started the morning with a visit to THQ where we received a very warm welcome from Field Secretary, Dixon Mpakula, on behalf of the TC, Colonel Moses Wandulu, who sadly was unable to greet us as it is a busy period with the impending visit to Zimbabwe of the Malawi Women’s SARPCO Rally – we wish them a safe journey and a time filled with spiritual blessings.
A visit to the College of Medicine to check out facilities followed. It looks as if it will be a wonderful venue with plenty of space and great food!
In the afternoon, the Swiss/UK-team, along with Stanley Philip and Bandmasters, Charles Chimimba and Alex Sulu and Songster Leaders, Alfred Manyamba and Joseph Lanken met to discuss and arrange the programme.
It will be an amazing camp as we come together to worship and praise the Lord.
thanks for the info wil keep following
Wow! Looking forward to having such a great time throughout the Camp and may God bless you for all the effort invested into this!
Fill Blantyre with Music!!!!
